Motwane introduces the XTRM‑3 Transformer Turns Ratio Meter, a new‑generation, fully automatic microcontroller‑based instrument designed for accurate measurement of transformer parameters using modern electronic techniques. The XTRM‑3 replaces conventional turns ratio testers based on manual current‑balancing bridge circuits, eliminating the need for manual null balancing. The XTRM‑3 measures Turns Ratio, Voltage Ratio, Ratio Error, Phase Displacement, and Excitation Current of single‑phase and three‑phase transformers. It also automatically detects the transformer vector group, ensuring reliable and repeatable test results.
